Yahoo! Returns for Second Year as Presenting Sponsor of Internet Week New York With the Yahoo! Provoke Summit, Keynoted by Best-Selling Author Steven Johnson
New York, NY (May 26, 2011) — Returning for a second year as the presenting sponsor of Internet Week New York, Yahoo! today unveiled the lineup for the Yahoo! Provoke Summit, which serves as a thought-leadership forum to address how innovation and creativity impact and change digital media.
The keynote speaker will be interdisciplinary thinker and New York Times best-selling author Steven Johnson, whose books include Where Good Ideas Come From and Everything Bad Is Good for You. Joining Johnson will be:

The Yahoo! Provoke Summit takes place on June 7th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at festival headquarters in the Altman Building, located at 135 West 18th Street (between 6th and 7th Avenues).
Now in its fourth year, Internet Week New York has become one of the world's premier events promoting digital culture. In celebration of New York City's booming Internet community, more than 20,000 people are expected to attend over 250 conferences, meet-ups, exhibits, and parties. Highlights include the Personal Democracy Forum, Federated Media's Conversational Marketing Summit, Flavorpill's Internet Week Culture Hunt, and the Webutante Ball. The festival will culminate on June 13th with the 15th annual Webby Awards at the Hammerstein Ballroom, with the ceremony streamed live on Facebook.
